how it looks like?

No. Even if you try to stand still, you are still moving, the human body is constantly juggling to maintain balance. True stillness is not achievable. The small movements which keep us balanced flow in continuous waves from the ground up through the whole body to the top of the head.
It is much easier to juggle solid objects than a human body which has joints, and is made from 50-75% water! Juggling within the body is so complex that it takes us years to master it.
Try it yourself right now: Attempt to stand still and feel what happens… You can feel how your body loses its balance, then it activates the right myofascial train to bring itself back into balance. However the same momentum that brings you back to balance leads to you losing your balance again.. You are oscillating, similar to a pendulum; an upside-down pendulum.
The Flow of Balance in your body is made up of such tiny movements that you probably aren’t even aware of it.
Step 1: start becoming aware of the flow of balance. For example, pay attention to it when you are waiting for a train or when you are standing in a queue…
Your awareness is your ‘superpower’. Where your attention flows so does your power. Practising this attention develops sensitivity. The more you focus on it, the better your feeling will be.
People often think, that they can overcome these tiny movements with strong muscular tension. Even if you do tense up the flow of balance will be still be there. Tension just makes it more difficult to feel it.
Therefore, to be more sensitive, relax as much as possible.
Step 2: Feel the flow of balance in others. For example, place your hand on someone’s shoulder and feel their movement… Remain passive, don’t manipulate the body, just flow with it.
Placing your hands on their body can give you information about your partner’s movement, but you can develop your awareness even further.
Sync with your partner’s movement. At a certain point when it clicks your bodies’ movements will truly synchronise and you will feel the magic of connection…
When your bodies are connected they form one new dynamic unit. Both bodies influence each other and this connection is very delicate. Be careful, (especially if you want to actively control the movement) because you can easily break this connection. Therefore don’t push or pull hard, rather extend the natural movements by gently pushing or pulling the fascias with a deeply rooted touch which comes from your core…
You can connect with multiple people at the same time. You can be connected with 2 or 3, or even more people. In some of my workshops 50 of us are connected.
You can also observe the flow of balance from a distance. After practicing for for a while you can will be able to mirror and move with somebody further away – without making physical touch. Perhaps psychology or biology could probably explain this through some social subconscious programming to help us to synchronise with others (perhaps it could have been useful for hunting in groups).
I have no idea how psychologists would explain the next level however…
We can actually synchronise with someone else with our eyes closed!
You can feel somebody’s attention
This might sound far-fetched but haven’t you ever felt someone was looking at you and turned round to see that they were? In our normal waking consciousness most of us have a tendency to ignore one really important aspect: emotional connection. Your connection is not so deep if you are thinking about ‘you and him’. The partner/opponent can feel the antagonism and break the connection. It’s much better, if you imagine the two of you as one for example instead of sending the the message: ‘do what I want’ you send the message ‘let’s co-operate together’ in the form of a feeling.
Why should I work with the flow of balance?
The flow of balance is a fundamental process which massively affects all of your movements.
It’s a tiny ‘micro movement’, which looks negligible, however we are talking about a massive power – about moving your body mass.
In using this power you are quicker, stronger, you can better synchronise with a dance partner, you can flow around somebody in a game of football, you can take somebody down, or strike against the flow of their natural movement and much much more…
If you sync with the flow of balance during a discussion, you will have more rapport with the person you are communicating with. The person probably won’t even recognise why they connected with you so well and why they feel there is such an understanding between you.
It’s important to remember the psychological aspect of communication because it really helps you connect with others.
Here is a practical example from my work as a doorman: if I see somebody acting suspiciously or aggressively I sync with him from a distance. Then I walk towards him. When I am close enough I make contact in a friendly way, which usually relaxes him, and also gives me a better chance to react and control him.
However the best way to learn is experience, learning directly from myself, or from another teacher who works with the flow of balance.
